The Municipality of Librazhd is making significant strides toward improving the quality of life for its citizens through strategic partnerships. Mayor Mariglen Disha recently held an important meeting with the Turkish Ambassador to Albania, Mr. Tayyar Kağan Atay, and the Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Mr. Mustafa Ata.
During the meeting, discussions focused on concrete initiatives designed to benefit the community. Particular attention was given to three key projects:
- Modernization of the Surgery Ward at Librazhd Hospital – This project aims to equip the ward with state-of-the-art medical technology, enabling advanced treatments for patients.
- Support for Local Farmers – Investments to assist farmers in planting and cultivating agricultural products, enhancing productivity and competitiveness in the market.
- Programs for Orphaned Children – Initiatives to empower young people with orphan status, helping them develop skills and achieve economic independence.
Mayor Disha expressed his deep gratitude to the Turkish partners and emphasized the importance of international cooperation in local community development. “The investments and support provided by TIKA and the Turkish Embassy will have a profound impact on the daily lives of our citizens,” stated Mayor Disha.
The upcoming visit of the Turkish delegation to Librazhd is expected to further strengthen this collaboration and bring the discussed projects to fruition.
