Even today, despite many of the young men leaving, they continue to contribute to keeping the festive atmosphere alive and help the residents feel connected and loved. Every year-end, the young men of Skroska organize festive events for their families, ensuring a warm and joyful atmosphere for the New Year celebration. This act of love and care for the families is a beautiful tradition that has remained unchanged over the years.

In the days around the end of the year, a group of elderly residents gathers to celebrate the passing of the old year and to create new memories. In August, they gather the emigrants to celebrate together and to remember the beautiful moments of life in the village. Similarly, in December, elderly residents gather to celebrate together and to remember their youth and the mining period. On March 8th, they organize a special celebration for mothers and teachers, honoring the women and educators who have contributed to the village and society.
