A citizen has reported about the severe damage potholes and road cracks in Tirana are causing to vehicles. The complaint is about a road near the Police Directorate in the city center. It has been left in a deplorable state for over a year. This neglect is causing significant repair costs for drivers.
Drivers in the capital face heavy traffic. They also meet the blatant negligence of authorities. These authorities fail to repair damaged roads. A large crack in the asphalt is left unattended in the heart of the city. It has become a symbol of indifference toward taxpayers. Citizens endure the consequences daily.
One frustrated citizen shared:
“Hello, I want to share a serious concern. These roads in Tirana are destroying our cars! Especially near the bridge by the Police Directorate, the road has been in this condition for over a year. Where are the authorities? Do they see this, or are they flying drones and avoiding it altogether?”
He further explained that the damage isn’t limited to tires and suspensions but also affects other mechanical parts of vehicles.
“Our cars are falling apart! Tires are wearing out, suspensions are damaged, and mechanical components are suffering due to these horrible road conditions. It’s a scandalous situation in the heart of Tirana!”
Drivers are calling for urgent action. They emphasize that the lack of response signifies a severe failure by authorities. Authorities fail to fulfill their responsibilities toward citizens.
