Lezhë, Albania – February 3, 2025
Another serious road accident occurred on Monday morning on the Lezhë-Shkodër highway, near the village of Mabe. A city sanitation truck from Laç lost control, crashed into the barriers, and overturned on the side of the road.
The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. According to initial reports, the vehicle was fully loaded with waste and was headed toward the Bushat landfill when the accident happened.

Authorities have begun an official investigation to determine the cause of the crash. Preliminary information suggests that the accident could have been caused by slippery road conditions or mechanical failure, but a full report is expected soon.
